Nanna
NANNA by David Simpatico
Thursday, April 20th at 7pm Liberty Public House, Rhinebeck, NY
Hijinks ensue when the recently deceased 88 year-old Nanna is sent back to the living by the imprisoned Mother Goddess in order to ensure the birth of a new World Savior. Part sex farce, part mythic tragedy, NANNA is a cyclonic ride through the dark waters of inter-generational incest, and the struggle to create a healthier, happier future.
NANNA is an edgy, hilarious, disturbing, and life-affirming two-act play, written by David Simpatico and read by members of the Howl pack: Alexandra Angeloch, Martina Deignan, Ryan Katzer and Jennifer Skura. This event is being performed in collaboration with National Child Abuse Prevention Month.
As always, doors open at 6:30 pm. There will be a ten-minute intermission and a cash bar.
The event itself is FREE but donations are always graciously accepted.
Don't be late, and keep howlin'!
